Activating regular volume license using command-line tool

Activate product keys on multiple computers using a command-line tool:

You can execute a script to automatically activate a product key (which should be a volume key) on various computers without physically going to each computer and filling in the activation key. The script can contain the account names, passwords and keys and can execute the proper commands to activate the licenses. The users should themselves create this script as we currently do not have installers providing this by default.

Use the following script to activate licenses on Mac machine:

#!/bin/sh
`dirname $0`/enfocus_activationtool -act -pk <product_key> -a <account_name>
<account_password>
In the above script, replace <product_key> with the actual product key to proceed with activation. Save file with the .command extension and store it in the enfocus_activationtool folder.

To make the file executable open the terminal and type following command,

chmod 755 <file_name>

Here, replace <file_name> with the name of the script. Copy the entire enfocus_activationtool folder to the system where the product key needs to be activated and double click to execute.

Use the script given below to activate licenses on Windows machine:

enfocus_activationtool -act -pk <product_key> -a <account_name>
<account_password>

In the above script, replace <product_key> with the actual product key to proceed with activation. Save file with the .bat extension and store it in the ActivationTool folder which contains the enfocus_activationtool.exe.

Copy the entire ActivationTool folder to the system where the product key needs to be activated and double click to execute.
