HP Indigo is the provider of one of the most versatile digital presses in the world today with more than 5000 installations worldwide. The rise of digital printing in key industries such as photo merchandising (personal calendars, cards and photobooks), publishing, commercial printing and labels and packaging has contributed to the growth of HP Indigo press installations.
HP Indigo has more than 25 years of experience in designing, building and running digital presses. In 1993 Indigo launched the world’s first digital color press based on its proprietary HP Indigo ElectroInk, which contains charged pigmented particles in a liquid carrier. Enabled by ElectroInk and Indigo’s unique printing process, HP Indigo prints match and even exceed offset using the widest digital color gamut.
