Converting packaging jobs with CMYK, RGB and spot colors digitally on a 7C digital printer requires converting the colors properly. How this is done will be demonstrated with a sample PDF file that should be printed in 7 colors on a digital press.
The demonstration using ColorLogic tools will involve creating a suitable test chart for a 7C printer, printer profile and DeviceLink creation and converting a PDF file to 7 colors including faithful converting of the spot colors and overprints.
About Dietmar Fuchs
Dietmar Fuchs, born in 1968, has a degree as Photo engineer from the University of Applied Science in Cologne, Germany. The infinite field of color management is his passion for more than 25 years, now. He works for the German company ColorLogic GmbH as a Product and Project Manager, where he is responsible for the color management and color server products.
