PitStop Pro 2023
PitStop Pro 2023 introduces Fastlane – an ultra fast way to extract data from PDF files – new logging and report options, and improvements to Actions that include searching for text using regex.
- FastLane: Get immediate and efficient extraction of crucial PDF data like page count, color space, and metadata. Streamline high-throughput environments, bypassing the need for full Preflight Reports while outputting results in JSON format.
- Log as "info": You can now log validations as “Information” in addition to “Error”, “Warning” or “Sign-off”.
- JSON reports: Along with PDF and XML reports, you now have the ability to generate JSON reports.
- Faster report generation: Report generation is now much faster than before, especially on large and complex files. The PitStop Navigator UI also gets a speed boost.
- Find text as regex: A welcome addition to the “Select text by key phrase” Action, you can now indicate whether to use regular expressions or not.
- Action to log text properties: The “Log text object properties” Action makes it possible to log text properties such as font, leading, scaling, rendering, etc.
- Variable set improvements: When editing variable sets, there is now an option to move variables up and down so that you no longer need to delete and insert them in the correct order.
- Color conversions: Because System CMM is no longer supported on newer MacOS systems, only LittleCMS is now used for PitStop Pro color conversions. The difference between LittleCMS and System CMM is entirely negligible.
