Enfocus to present newest PitStop version at Ipex 2014

Enfocus announces the worldwide release of PitStop Pro 12 update 2 and PitStop Server 12 update 2 at Ipex, March 24-29 in London. These new versions will be demonstrated during the show and become commercially available from Wednesday March 26th.

The recently released Switch 12 will also be presented, highlighting the performance enhancing business benefits this workflow automation solution brings to businesses of all sizes and budgets. Completing the Enfocus product portfolio demonstrated at the show is the multiple-award winning Connect ALL, that provides PDF creation, preflight and delivery of a complete PDF-job, including job tickets, in one go. Enfocus will be present on the Esko stand #S4-F310.

Powerful ‘pocket knife’ preflighting and correction technology

With the launch of PitStop 12 last year, Enfocus introduced the most comprehensive PDF checking, correction and editing tool available on the market. PitStop 12 update 2 will include even more advanced editing, ease of use, and quality control.

“We stay true to our commitment to develop solutions that are based on customers’ needs. Visitors at the show can see first-hand the newest features, including a host of efficiency improving enhancements such as user definable keyboard shortcuts, improved selection and editing of objects, regular expressions, color curve adjustment and a number of new and improved Actions and Action Lists.”

Andrew Bailes-Collins, Senior Product Manager, Enfocus

Version 12 update 2 will be a free upgrade for all existing users of PitStop Pro 12.x and PitStop Server 12.x.

PitStop Pro 12 is the essential Adobe® Acrobat® plug-in to check and fix PDF files in professional publishing environments. An extensive array of editing tools makes it easy for the operator to perform last-minute corrections, both for individual objects and globally throughout the complete PDF document. The completely production oriented tools tackle those problems most commonly experienced during production. The industry-standard PitStop preflight engine checks all aspects of a PDF file and pinpoints exactly where the problems are. Embedded Certified PDF technology digitally signs the files to ensure the highest quality.

Modularity aids flexibility

Enfocus will also showcase Switch 12, its modular and open automation solution. The recently released Switch 12 includes remote management and simplified group administration tools. Switch can now also automate and control Adobe CC, QuarkXPress 10 and CorelDRAW. Switch has the ability to automate the repetitive tasks associated with creating, receiving and sorting files. In addition, Switch’s robust processing power and infinite configuration options let larger organizations successfully develop more complex business practices, such as integrating connections with more complex and layered business management data.

“Switch provides an essential toolkit businesses today need to be successful. Continually evolving, it can grow as the customer grows. It accommodates changes in workflow requirements while also optimizing existing technology investments by integrating old and new for maximum benefit and efficiency. This high degree of flexibility reassures companies that they can adapt at the pace that suits them to ensure reliability, consistency and maximum performance.”

Antje Grüger, Product Manager, Enfocus

Visitors at the show can also see how easily Switch integrates with existing systems and third party applications through collaborations with CHILI Publish, Alwan Color Expertise, Optimus, Quite Software, EFI, Esko, Fujifilm, Screen Europe and Xitron.
