Enfocus unveils new usability features and expanded integration in latest PitStop 26.03 update

Product news
PitStop Griffin Phoenix 26.03 release

Enfocus, the leader in affordable, flexible automation software for the print industry, has brought fresh usability enhancements and automation tools to its market-leading PitStop solution.

The 26.3 update introduces a series of interface improvements and productivity tools to the platform that is already renowned as the gold standard for PDF proofing software.

The key change in this release is “My PitStop”, a user interface panel that consolidates access to resources and documentation to ensure that users get maximum value out of PitStop. As for Botus, the AI Chatbot that was introduced in PitStop 25.11, it is now part of this new panel.

Another nice improvement is the ability to now display more information from within the PitStop File Manager (Action Lists, Preflight Profiles…) thanks to additional columns (Author, Description, Last Modified Date…) that users can show or hide.

These changes come alongside new actions including ‘Distribute along Path’, which enables users to distribute objects along irregular shapes, and ‘Scale to fill’, which automatically scales page content to completely fill a specific page box.

“For PitStop 26.03, our focus was to help customers get the maximum value out of PitStop. I’m confident that the new My PitStop panel will become an essential resource, giving users quick access to guidance, documentation, use cases, feature requests, and Botus, our AI chatbot. We’re also introducing several new Actions and improvements that continue to solve every day prepress challenges.

By refining the user experience and expanding PitStop’s functionality, we’re giving print professionals the freedom to spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on creative problem‑solving.”

Alongside PitStop, Enfocus has announced updates to its Griffin and Phoenix solutions. Griffin now includes Auto API additions that enable users to edit layout properties and work style, and fit layouts to content after nesting. Usability enhancements to marks, including the ability to duplicating live marks and mark presets, further simplify layout adjustments.

The update to Phoenix includes PDF+ and grid support, the ability to generate Step and Repeat groups in Imposition AI, and the ability to add stocks and devices directly into the current project in the REST API. A prototype of the Phoenix Cloud service is also included, which provides the first step towards greater integration with AE SaaS, CAD service, and third-party partners.
